The last couple of years have seen Linaker grow exponentially and 2025 will be no exception. Our client base continues to grow month on month and as a result, we are now looking for a talented Operational Excellence Administrator to join us on an initial temporary contract for 3-6 months.
Role Overview
As an Operational Excellence Administrator you will play a crucial role in our finance department by managing and overseeing the administration of ongoing projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to Linaker’s success by ensuring effective operations and project management support.
Key Responsibilities of an Operational Excellence Administrator
- Liaising with subcontractors and their internal teams
- Reviewing Engineers planners and scheduling additional works where suitable
- Keeping track of 'Work in Progress' and tracking any overdue jobs
- Reviewing PPW and contacting subcontractors for updates
- Updating our internal systems and ensuring accurate notes are inputted
- Closing jobs when complete and passing to our Contract Support function for billing
- Maintain organised records of all WIP-related documents and communications.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar administrative or finance role, ideally within the construction or facilities management sector.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with financial software systems.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
